Semarang has long been a major port city in Java, and has reached its heyday as a major trading checkpoint during the Dutch colonial times. The city that is now home to two million people is abound with various cultures, including Javanese, Chinese and Colonialist. The melange of these cultures has created a unique trait for the city’s locality, a characteristic that has been translated into pure luxury —with a touch of traditionalism— by Tentrem Semarang, a premium vertical residence located in the heart of the city.
