The Voice of Bali

Story by Anton Adianto

At the moment, Bali is left at a crossroads. The boisterous development of the island has made Bali a place full of multi-cultural architecture, shapes and styles. What is the current position of traditional Balinese architecture? Has it been pushed away by the mushrooming of hotels, resorts and villas on the island? These three Balinese architects have specific ideas regarding their works, favorite locations and how they see Balinese architecture in the past and at the moment.

The designers are Ketut Siandana, Ketut Arthana and Putu Edy Semara.
