Saisan Japanese Cuisine, Bandung

In the Cold of the Night

Story by Anton Adianto | Photo by Bagus Tri Laksono & Saisan Doc.

The hilly northern part of Bandung is blessed with a cold breeze, especially at night. But the chilly air seems to disperse once you step into Saisan Japanese Cuisine and witness firsthand the entertaining and impressive skills of the chef cooking the restaurant’s teppanyaki menus. The bursts of flames that seem to lick the ceiling when the banana flambe dessert is prepared right before our eyes to finish off the teppanyaki dinner, truly have the power to chase the chill away!
